She had been in love with him unable to let him go, he loved her just as much as he knew she did. But it was that love, that if they couldn't be together. He'd rather be dead than live without her and she the same. It was the first time Christine admitted it to herself. James was much more to her, than a lover or a boyfriend. He was her air, her heart. She had spent time with his family, but she missed being with him and when she was with him. They would usually go into their routine of hot intense sex. Which Christine couldn't get enough of these days especially with him.
She watched as he was training the little league his parent's always wanted him to be their coach, but he was never interested. Now he was getting the hang of it. But Christine, wanted him daily and it hurt that he had so little time for her nowadays. Seeing him on the field, she got up and walked. She knew he cared about her, but she was lonely. She was being selfish, she told herself. The tears seemed to flow, they just came out of nowhere. The walk helped, it gave her something to do. She found a swing and sat on it.
She wiped the tears looking up as she felt the wind hit her face. The depression was being a pain on her. She didn't want to die, but at times she wish she had.
James came up behind her, "Sorry I took so long?"
"It's not your fault, you got a job to do." She wiped her tears.
"Is something wrong? He looked into her eyes.
"No." She lied.
"Come on we'll go to the house and get something to eat." She got up off the swing and walked with him.
She felt happier now that he was back. "Tonight I wanna celebrate, if you know what I mean."
"I'm a little tired, but I'll try how's that." James loved her, but lately he'd been so tired from practice.
"It's better than nothing." Christine didn't want to face the fact that he may have been losing interest in her.
She walked up the street feeling relieved. After lunch, she was feeling a little tired herself, she had been feeling this way for several weeks. It didn't cause her any alarm cause she thought maybe it was just her. As night came, they both ended up falling asleep, but in the morning he was gone. Christine got so upset, not even a kiss goodbye.
She got up showered and went outside she didn't leave word where she was going. Cause its not like he cared.
She had breakfast by herself at a cafe then she went to the book store and bought a book. She took it back to the house with her only to notice James was there.
Christine smiled, glad to see him there. She ran up to him, "I'd thought you gone."
"I just got back. Didn't anyone tell you." He looked at her, he wasn't James he was his twin brother.
"No, wanna go upstairs?" She winked at him.
Christine didn't wait to hear any rejections she grabbed his hand pulling him upstairs with her. She closed the door and wrapped her arms around him.
He kissed her, he didn't know who this girl was but he wouldn't deny her what she wanted. As she reached the bed she brought him down with her.
"I've missed you, James. We use to do this three times a day and now I get nothing." Christine pouted.
"I'm sorry, but I am not James. I should have told you that downstairs. Didn't he ever mention he had a twin brother." John said.
"John? You two look so alike." Christine touched his face.
"I'm sorry." He said looking at her.
"No don't be." She didn't take her hand off his face.
"They're expecting me downstairs. I'll see you later." He waved to her.
"Christine." She said.
"Christine." He smiled at her.
Christine laid out on the bed feeling that she almost had sex with James brother. Now she didn't know if she would ever be able to tell them apart.
She walked downstairs and smiled for once. Christine didn't know where James was or when he'd come back. She kept staring at John all day, he felt her eyes on him. He knew what she wanted, cause she had told him. When James did eventually come back, it broke Christine's concentration. She glared at the book she bought and actually read a line or two.
John glared at Christine noticing she was trying very hard not to stare at him. James came to Christine and kissed her. "Come with me."
Christine got up with her book and looked over at John to follow James. She followed him upstairs, he looked her straight in the eye.
"I'm sorry about last night. I fell asleep on you and I didn't pay attention to you." He kissed her deeply.
"Don't worry about it, John gave me a lot to think about when you were gone." She touched his face.
"What did he do Christine?" James looked at her.
"He didn't do anything. It's just his presence gave me something to think about. He looks so much like you." She tried to not think of John.
"What did you think about?" He asked.
"He gave me a reason not to be depressed anymore." She put her book down.
"I'm so sorry I made you feel that way." He kissed her.
"Don't worry about it." She smiled.
"Did you have dinner, cause I think there's still some left." Christine reached the door knob.
"I ate already." He grabbed her by the waist.
"What else are you hungry for?" Christine teased.
"You!" He placed her down on the bed.
She let him kiss her, but she really wasn't in the mood for it. "James stop."
"I thought you wanted this." He looked at her puzzled.
"I do, I'm just not in the mood right now." She got up off the bed.
His twin brother, held her differently. She couldn't believe that she actually refused to have sex with James. He looked at her.
"Are you doing anything tomorrow?" She asked.
"I'm taking the league out, but I don't want to leave you alone here." He touched her thigh.
"It's okay, you go ahead I bought a book to entertain myself." She showed him her book.
She laid back and started to yawn. "I'm sleepy."
"You sure nothing's wrong?" He asked.
"No." She laid down and fell asleep.
By morning he was gone again. Christine got use to the fact that he left her. But she got up took a shower and dressed into something free flowing. A summer dress flowed as she walked downstairs and went into the kitchen.
James mother was there, and so was he. "Christine, I'd like you to meet John."
"Yeah we met yesterday, I thought he was James." She smiled.
"He's come back from overseas and will be staying with us for a while." Evelyn said.
"That's great, at least I'll have someone to entertain me while James is out." Christine caught herself saying things she never usually said.
His mother eventually walked out of the kitchen leaving them two alone. John walked closer to her.
"Did James give you what you desired yesterday?" He touched her shoulder.
"No, he wanted to, but I told him no." Christine told him.
"Where you thinking about me?" He leaned closer.
"John I can't think of you. I am with your brother." She walked to the table.
"Which means you were and I was thinking of you too. Which leaves a proposition." He sat at the table.
"Proposition?" She looked at him.
"You want a replacement for my brother, and I want sex. We exchange and see where that leads us." He told it to her straight.
"I'm not having sex with you. If I did James and I would be so over." Christine couldn't believe she was hearing this.
"You said, my brother has been tired and you use to do it three times a day. He's cheating on you, so why not get even." He ran his hand up her leg.
"You really think he's cheating." It never crossed her mind.
"Go to the game check and see. If he is, meet me here." James passed her a card.
She took the card and went to go see if he was right. Christine must have walked blocks when she got to the field, the kids were out. But no sign of James, she went to the locker rooms. Inside she could hear moaning. She looked and saw James kissing a blond.
"You son of a bitch!" Christine yelled.
James saw Christine and she ran. He didn't follow her. Christine wiped her tears, she went to where John had told her to go. She was hurt and he was the only one who could comfort her. Christine walked into the building and up the stairs. She knocked on the door.
"Was I right?" He asked.
"Yeah he was kissing a blond. He's never did this to me." She wiped her eyes.
"I'll make it go away." John said holding her in his arms.
He kissed her, she took his kiss hungrily. It ached her to feel this way for him. She never wanted a man so much not even James like this.
John swept her up and took her to his bed. Immediately they were shedding their clothes, with the eagerness to reach their destination. Christine wanted him, yes. But she could not bother herself to think of what James did to her. When he entered himself into her, waves of release were washed away. Christine realized not only did she love how he was making her feel, but she had a feeling that he loved her in some way. Cause his look, had looked straight into her heart if not her soul.
He put his finger into her mouth and she sucked it. Her delicate frame he held to him. She was like breakable glass when touched just at the right point she would shatter. Christine enjoyed this much more than she thought she would. When her finally release came she shook and he loved looking at her respond to him like that. He smiled and finished it off coming inside her.
Christine laid beside him for a while. "Why do I feel like I know this is wrong, but it feels good that its right."
"Cause you hate my brother and your beginning to love me." He kissed her neck.
"You think so, your so cocky." She hit him. "Whose apartment is this anyways?" She was curious.
"A friend's, I bring girls here sometimes When I need my privacy." He kissed her shoulder.
"If your friend shows up what shall we do then. I ask this cause I can't go back. I can't see him." Christine got up.
"I've got a crazy idea, but I'll only do it. If you say yes?" He grasped her hand.
"Marry me, Christine. And I will cherish you everyday, no matter the time of day. I'm crazy about you." He kissed her.
"Marry you? Your serious?" Christine could not believe he was proposing marriage when his brother never had.
He nodded.
"I accept." She kissed him hard.
"Can you exchange one brother for another?" He had to ask her that question.
"I can, James meant a lot to me. But he broke that trust, I don't wish to mend a heart that's been broken." Christine touched his chest tracing it with her finger.
"I see. I shall never harm you in that way." He grabbed her hand taking her into his arms.
"No never." She wrapped her arms around his chest hugging him tightly.
"Promise me something." She looked straight into his eyes.
"Anything!" He looked at her.
"Promise me, we'll have more nights like this." She kissed his neck.
"Always, I'll never tire of you. Your a nectar that is of a required taste." He got up bringing her up with him.
"I've never been referred to as a nectar, only as a harlot." She smiled.
"Not with me you won't and as soon as my brother, finds you irrestible. We'll show him together what he's lost." He got up and started getting dressed.
"Do you have some kind of vendetta against him or is this merely for play?" Christine had to wonder.
"Well not really, but he has it coming to him for hurting you in the first place." He zipped up his jeans not wearing a shirt.
"Darling, your so sexy when you look like that." Christine was obvious, she wanted him.
"We must go, I need to find my bride an engagement ring." He took her hand.
"I'm all done." She smiled at him.
They walked out of the apartment together and walked down the street. There was a jewelry store a few blocks away. John didn't know much about Christine, but he knew he liked her enough to propose marriage to her. They walked together hand in hand. In the store window, she pulled John next to her.
"There's one thing I can't deny my bride to be." He said to her.
"What's that?" She looked at him.
"Pick what you want, price is of no value." He walked into the store taking her hand.
Christine, looked around when she saw something she liked. "That's one."
"Darling, are you sure?" He held her hand.
"Yes, I want that one." Christine insisted.
He found the store clerk, "My lady would like that ring please." John pointed.
"Yes sir."The clerk pulled it out and it fit her finger perfectly.
"John, are you sure. I don't want to do this if your not sure." Christine looked into his eyes.
"I"m sure." He kissed her.
"Well take it as is." John told the clerk, then went to the register to pay for it. John and Christine were obviously in love and it showed from the first time they met.
James had felt awful for cheating on Christine. He wandered around the house for hours, wondering where she was. His brother was obviously missing too. James wondered if they were together. It wouldn't have shocked him if they were. James feeling tired, he laid on the sofa.
It was a few hours later, when John and Christine walked through the door. They were laughing together, that had woke up James. He got up off the couch and walked seeing them kissing.
"What the fuck is going on?" James was angry.
"John will you give us a minute." She touched his chest.
"Yeah, I got to change anyways." He went pass his brother.
"James, we need to talk." She went into the living room, he followed.
Christine sat down, looking at him.
"Christine, I am so sorry I never meant to cheat on you. I'll never do that again." He apologized.
"Its fine, but its all right. I got over it and I'm marrying your brother." She never even looked at him.
"Christine, what the fuck! I love you." He kneeled down at her legs.
"If you loved me you never would have kissed her." Christine wanted to cry but she didn't.
"Did you fuck her?" Christine looked at him.
"Only once." He regretted saying it.
"Your brother was right." Christine felt like a fool.
"Christine, I want you. Like we were before I came to this godforsaken place." He wrapped his arms around her.
"James, its over. I'm in love with John. He's nothing like you. He's passionate, that's what I've been looking for." She got up.
"Christine don't do this to us." He begged.
"I didn't you did, bye James." Christine walked up the stairs and walked to John's room.
When she sat on John's bed it broke her heart. "Did he beg?"
"He tried. But I couldn't, I couldn't go to him no matter how much he needed me." Tears finally came.
"It's all right, Chris." He kissed her neck.
"I like that." She smiled.
John put his arms around her, sliding his hand up her thigh. She was getting turned on, he could feel her breathing hard. It didn't take much for Christine to get hot and bothered. That much John knew. But he was playing for keeps. He wanted Christine for him and no one else.
"We can't do this here. I'll scream, you know how I am." Christine warned him.
"I love it, when you scream." He kissed her lips as he forced him fingers inside her.
She closed her eyes feeling his fingers inside her. His other hand was digging into her dress grabbing her breasts. Christine was feeling good, he was skilled and moved his fingers with grace.
"No, Nah No." Christine moaned.
"Scream for me. I want you too." John licked her ear.
"If I scream for you, will you finish this. It's torture." Christine was sweating and breathing hard.
"Yes." He whispered a hot breath near her ear.
"Okay." Christine laid into him.
"Make me fly again." Christine grasped his head bringing his lips to hers.
As she kissed him her heart was racing, the sweat felt wet. It was then that she gave it her all. "Oh god, yes yes." Christine screamed out.
When John heard her, he unbuckled his pants and brought her to him. "Ready for the main event, Christine."
"For you I'm always ready." She took off her dress and threw it to the floor.
Christine laid in the bed spreading her legs for him. He came between them and shoved himself inside her. The passion they shared equalled to what Christine thought was spectacular. She never had this was James, it was like her and John shared the same of everything. He was perfect and matched her every move.
"You do good, John." She commented on his performamce.
"As well as you." He kissed her.
He kissed her inner thigh and kept pounding into her until his final release was inside her. John grunted with force, "Fuck!"
"Feels good doesn't it?" She touched his face, as he laid it upon her chest.
"I love you, John." She wrapped her arms around him.
He was laying on her chest, and picked his head up. "I love you, Christine."
They eventually fell asleep together. It was unlike anything Christine ever had in her life. She knew somehow she would love him more and more each day.
